3tbsp.cornstarch(it's okay if you don't use it all.)
1tsp.oil
1tsp.ground cinnamon
1tbsp.granular sweetener
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400F. if it has a preheat function.
If you prefer to peel your apples, do so first, and then cut them into fries.
Dust them with cornstarch, being careful to "dust" them. You aren't trying to bread them, so make sure the starch is a light coating instead of being layered on thick, then spray them with an oil sprayer. Again, this is a light coat of oil. Don't drench them.
If you are using spices, sprinkle them over the oiled fries.
Place your apple fries in a single layer on your air fryer tray or in your air fryer basket.
Cook to desired doneness (about 10-15 minutes).
Place in a bowl and sprinkle with your favorite sweetener to taste.
Note that in an air fryer, you can easily make these as apple chips instead of as fries. But we have a delicious recipe coming for apple chips. So stay tuned.
