48 oz. tub vanilla ice cream – You can use any flavor ice cream you prefer.

½ cup flour – all purpose works fine.

3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal – See suggestions for other topping ideas.

3 large egg whites

Instructions:

Ice cream scooped onto a black tray.

Using an ice cream scoop, scoop out about 1 cup of ice cream per ball. (Each scoop of vanilla ice cream should be about the same amount you would use to make an ice cream sandwich.) Mold into a ball and place in a muffin tin. If you don’t have a muffin tin, you can use a parchment-lined baking sheet. But you’ll have less mess with a muffin pan. Place in freezer for 1 hour.

If your ice cream is very hard, you can either let it sit out for a few minutes before scooping, or you can fill a shallow bowl with warm water and dunk your ice cream scoop into the water between each scoop. Keep some paper towels handy incase you get some drips.
